An experiment... with my Nikon Coolpix 7900, manually "assembled" on my Celestron 114/910 telescope (with 25mm SMA ocular)... a bit out of focus, i know... cleaned with photoshop.

Ive seen rigs like this... they are very cool... this in itself is a nice photograph, Ive seen moon shots taken from the sigma 50-800mm with a 2x TC, and let me tell you those shots were amazing. This is awesome too. Tad soft like you said, but still a nice shot.

NIce shot.. as said a bit soft... just one more thing... next time expose it properly for the lighter side (don't overexpose it) and then in PS bring out the slightly underexposed details (it works, I've tried that

)
